Located in the state of Ceará, Cumbuco is a premier kitesurfing destination, famous for its steady trade winds from July to January, ranging between 18 and 35 knots. Its expansive sandy beaches and shallow lagoons create perfect conditions for both beginners and advanced riders. The absence of reefs and obstacles allows for smooth, unrestricted riding, while the nearby Cauipe Lagoon offers a flat-water paradise ideal for freestyle enthusiasts. SPOTS WE WILL VISIT
10 kilometers downwind, we will reach Cauipe Lagoon, a small lagoon with water that looks like a mirror. You can get there by riding or by buggy.
Paracuru, just over an hour from Cumbuco, is a spot that offers waves generated by the reef, 200 meters from the shore. @lapetitemaison.quebramar Kite Center will be our stop during excursions. Between the waves and the beach, there is a flatter area where we can jump and ride comfortably. The waves are easy and well-organized.
Just 30 meters from our Hotel, we will be at Cumbuco Beach, where we will enjoy open space and small waves.
Taiba, one of our favorite spots, is just an hour from Cumbuco. It offers incredible flat water with the option to head out to the waves. The lagoon is lined with beachfront bars where you can enjoy delicious food, cold beers, or fresh coconuts.
